If I could live in another country, it would be Italy. I would love to learn the language, and I enjoy Italian music from singers such as Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, and Andrea Bocelli.

My favorite quote is by Benjamin Franklin, “Well done is better than well said.” Our actions reflect who we are as a person. We can deceive people with words, but our actions can speak otherwise.

Spending time with my family, eating good food, spending time outdoors, and all of that is even better if we are close to the beach.

Where do you like to travel most?
We’ve traveled to many places, but my favorite place in the whole world is still The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. It’s remote and elegant with gorgeous views and bike trails.

One of my favorite authors, Alexander McCall Smith, made this point about positivity, “If your ceiling should fall down, then you have lost a room but gained a courtyard.” Things won’t always work out perfectly, but I can choose my reaction.

I love a challenge. Problem solving gives me an adrenaline rush. Working with my team and customers to find a solution that works for everyone is quite satisfying

I played the violin for 8 years. People would look at me in school and think this football player does not play the violin. I loved the look of surprise when they actually heard me play.

My favorite hobby is building and painting tabletop gaming miniatures. It is a nice way to relax while watching TV or a movie. Playing the games is a good workout for my brain as there is a lot of strategy involved in each game.

My favorite meal to cook is a helping of 3 French soft scrambled eggs, roasted red fingerling potatoes, and Bob Evans brand pork sausage links. With practice and experimentation, I have made the best blend of herbs and spices for the potatoes I could, so I have put a fair amount of work into making this recipe what it is now.

I love to sing. It's one of my favorite things to do when I am not working.
